Paper Starfish

I have it. The funny thing is, when it comes to knitting, I'm pretty much a one-project-at-a-time girl. I work on something until it's done. I don't have tons of WIPs going. Now quilting on the other hand....

This is most of my confetti quilt being tested for layout possibilities.

I've been working on my blocks for Simplebee where we're all making the Garden Fence Quilt:

One person requested orange and aqua (which are also my colors) and another requested blues. I really like this block!

I'm finishing up the binding on my wonky pinwheels and have the top finished for the Habitat challenge. Stay tuned!

The whirligigs are finished!

The fabric is Denyse Schmidt Picnic and Fairgrounds with Kona white. I love how it looks but the whirligigs required a lot of trimming while they were pieced which got tedious.

This is the first quilt I've made that doesn't really have a home. It's a baby quilt and I'm not quite sure where it will live yet.

In knitting news, the Baby Ruched Cardigan is humming along slowly. Pictures in a day or so....

I'm swapping some aqua and red wonky plus signs next month so I tried some out tonight. I like this block - it's graphic and fun!

There's a needlepoint store opening up right near one of my favorite LYSs in a few weeks. Ahhh, I REALLY don't need another hobby but needlepoint shops DO something to me with all of their handpainted canvases hanging about....
