Rainbow Wheel

I posted an almost-finished picture of this quilt on Instagram (I'm paperstarfish) and it got a good amount of love.

Honestly, this quilt gave me "problems" from day one and if it wasn't a commissioned piece, it would have been abandoned long ago. I'm glad I stuck with it though because it taught me a lot.

It measures 48" square and contains several of my favorite prints including that meteor shower print by Tula Pink. I used this pattern by Stitched in Color and modified it a bit to work out the way I wanted. Great, clear pattern. The problems came from me and my modifications!

It was well worth sticking with.

It is so beautiful.

I love the quilting.

Thanks for sharing! It turned out really beautifully. Looks great with the dark background. And, cool quilting!

You have a great eye for color.

And...I'll agree with the others. Curves are a HUGE pain.

But, it looks great. Your patience paid off.
