I guess I'm on a dpn kick after those socks because I cranked out a pair of mittens.
They are the Tweedy Mittens from kpixie that are found here. I chose to leave off the stripes and work with a skein of purple-y Manos del Uruguay (color 117) and I really love them. They will be a holiday gift for the Scooter's babysitter. He loves wearing them!
As I continue to get my Ravelry notebook together, I find more pictures. Here is a shot of my mini Clapotis done in Artyarns Supermerino.

I went to the new yarn store in Lafayette. I of course bought some sock yarn. She didn't have much up but I see potential! I can't wait to go back when she has more.
