I don't have any FOs to show but have acquired some new yummies to show! Last weekend I made a little trip to Raleigh for Carolina FiberFest. It was only the second year of this event and it was small but there were some really lovely vendors there. I got a skein of sock yarn in a colorway called Poppy:
and an art batt for spinning in the colorway Sea Glass:
I've never spun from a batt before but this one by Jazzturtle Creations called to me!
I also got this gorgeous self striping GothSock in the colorway Barbigoth (not at the fiber festival):
It's scrumptious!
In quilting news I have 30 blocks altogether and will add a border to have a pretty generous-sized lap quilt. Here they are on the bed as hubby and I arranged and rearranged:
I'm loving this so far. Now...on to mitered corners on the border. I'm scared!

Wow! All your pics are awesome! I especially love that Poppy colorway. Maybe next year I'll make it to that fiber fest.

Beautiful yarn! Where did you get the Goth yarn.
It's been awhile since we've been in Raleigh, but I remember a shop on Hillsborough that was really nice -- Needles, Shuttles and Spindles? or something like that.

Hi Paige,
Thanks for visiting my blog. Yours is so nice, I will be back. I noticed in one of your earlier posts that you are a NY Giants fan. Go team! Also, love the color of that Poppy yarn, it's beautiful.

Fun - I made it to the Fiber Fest on Sunday and got some laceweight from the KnitPicky booth!
And I looove the goth sock. Great colors.
Your quilt looks great! I still haven't made it over to karen gray's - maybe next week.

Don't be intimidated by mitered corners. They aren't as bad as they seem! Your quilt top is going to look beautiful and your yarns are just exquisite.

I love quilting! It is so nice to see projects on a blog of someone who likes to quilt and knit. I love both very much.
The distribution of colour is lovely and I do like the white between - I tend to use a lot of white too, to avoid the patterns looking too busy.
Love the pink border too. Have you decided on backing? Something similar in colour to the darkish dotted fabric would look gorgeous! All the best with it.
