Christmas in July - opinions needed please!

I am excited to be a part of a Christmas swap on Flickr and have received some information about the person for whom I am crafting! She likes modern fabrics and red green for decorating but also likes some of the newer fabrics with blues and pinks mixed in. She said her style is more fun and whimsical than traditional and elegant. Sounds just like me!

I'm playing around with fabric (don't want to say what I'm making just yet) and have two options so far. Which do you think is better for her? Which do you like better?

Option 1 - Red and green with some whimsical:

Option 2 - includes some blue:

In case anyone is interested that fabrics are from The 12 Days of Christmas by Kate Spain for Moda.

for me, although i know this is not for me :) i like option 2. the blues break it up a bit and it looks cheery!!

I'm voting for collection #2. The new, modern flair represented in those colors is so appealing and I decorate in a more traditional, with just a bit of modern, style. But, truly, you couldn't go wrong with either. If I hadn't seen #2, I would have been thrilled with #1!

I really like option 2 :)

I like the group with the blue added in. Looking forward to seeing what you make.

I'd go with option #2 - love those fabrics!!

I know I'm a little late, but I love #2!

I love the second one too. Cute!
