Cathedral Window Block and Charm Swap

I am almost finished with my Cathedral Window block:

I love how it looks and regularly drool over photos of whole quilts done this way but I probably won't do it again any time soon. It's a lot of work that requires a lot of precision for that block. So now, what to do with it? The most obvious possibility is a pillow. It's just going to sit until I decide.

There's a newish button on my sidebar to the right for the Rainbow Fabric Charm Swap by Ellison Lane Quilts. There are 56 people participating and everyone was assigned a color. Then you buy two fabrics in that color and cut 56 charms from each fabric. Here are mine:

I will send them off where everyone's charms will be sorted and everyone gets a rainbow of charms back. I can't wait to see 112 charms in all different colors arrive at my doorstep. Off to search for rainbow quilt pictures for inspiration!

Dee:

That will be a beautiful pillow. I love the mod look of the fabrics.

Hi Paige,
got the link off of Angie's blog.
So glad you are going to be helping her in the MTQG. It was a great meeting and I am looking forward what the year has to hold.
I just love your cathedral windows. I have always wanted to make them. Well done.
