Modern Crosses in Bad Lighting

In an effort to prove that I'm still sewing I present to you my take on a modern cross quilt:

Sadly, the only time I have to get things done these days is in the evening which doesn't make for very good photographs. Hopefully this is enough to give you an idea:

This is about 58" square and is a variation on the pattern in this book. I love the look of this quilt and it's hanging in my brand new assistant principal office! ;)

This is a great pattern and seems to look good in any fabric combo. I will say there are a deceptively large number of pieces to each block. I know the block can be made other ways but, well, you know how much I love log cabin blocks!

What a great quilt! It he bright colors really pop against the low volume background. And congrats on the new job?
