Just Keep Swimming!

We were watching Finding Nemo yesterday so I took that as a cue to make some more fish blocks.

This is going to be a simple baby quilt for a coworker who is also Kid Starfish's former teacher. She is due in October with her first baby - a boy!

I ran by one of my favorite LQSs today, The Little General, and got to hold a sweet, teeny baby while I browsed. I think the adorableness and new baby smell got to my head because I broke my no-new-fabric-unless-I-know-what-I'll-do-with-it rule and bought this:

Yes, that's Acacia by Tula Pink. I bought 8 fat quarters. Now what to do with them? Dee, if you're reading, that raccoon is posted especially for you! ;)

Welcome to the dark side!

Dee:

VERY cute raccoon fabric.

Love the little fishie fabric too. That will make an adorable quilt.
