Off to the quilter (and a giveaway winner)!

I sent my baby off to the longarm quilter the other day. I have to admit, it was a little bit hard handing it over! My first "real" quilt is almost finished. Here she is right before being sent on her way:

The green piece is the backing (Kona Tarragon) with a tiny bit of piecing with leftovers.

And according to random.org the giveaway winner is:

Amy!

Yay Amy! Let's go shopping at KnitPicks!

That green with the piecing will make the perfect back for this quilt. Lovely work!

Oh, dangit, I missed your first giveaway! Congrats to Amy, though, and I can't wait to see how your quilt looks when it's finished!

How cool! I'm so glad to know what your blogging address is! Seeing the quilts reminds of the few treasured ones I have from my Great Grandmother. One day, I would like to try my hand at one for each of my kids.

Thanks for stopping by the blog, Paige. Keep in touch, and I WILL be back.

Oh, how exciting to be finished with the quilt and have sent it off to be quilted. I look forward to seeing it.

Rats that I missed your wonderful give away, but congrats to the lucky winner!
